Description:  Protein A covalently bound by alkylamine linkage containing sonicated Salmon Sperm DNA.  The salmon sperm DNA blocks non-specific interactions with the beads for use in chromatin IP (ChIP) assays.  Protein A from Staphylococcus aureus has a very high affinity for the Fc regions of IgG molecules. Immoblisation of protein A on beads creates an affinity resin which can be used to purfy IgG fractions from serum or ascites fluid.  Suitable for use in chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIPs) assays.  Unless otherwise stated in our catalog or other company documentation accompanying the product(s), our products are intended for research use only and are not to be used for any other purpose, which includes but is not limited to, unauthorized commercial uses, in vitro diagnostic uses, ex vivo or in vivo therapeutic uses or any type of consumption or application to humans or animals.  Valuated in a Chromatin Immunoprecipitation by pulling down DNA cross-linked to acetylated histones, followed by antio-Acetyl Histone H4.
